About Hashiona

Hashiona was inspired by our founder’s personal experiences with Hashimoto’s thyroiditis. Eva Galant, who was diagnosed in her mid 20s, is on a mission to improve the lives of women who share her condition.

Our team of medical professionals, wellness experts, and nutritionists work collaboratively to develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate the latest research and practices in medicine, nutrition and alternative therapies. We believe that the best way to manage Hashimoto’s thyroiditis is through a multifaceted approach that addresses the root causes of the condition, rather than simply masking the symptoms.

Our diet

Our diet plan is specifically designed by clinical dieticians to help manage the symptoms of Hashimoto’s thyroiditis by reducing inflammation in the body.

This diet focuses on whole, nutrient-dense foods that are rich in antioxidants and anti-inflammatory compounds, such as fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean proteins. It also limits processed and inflammatory foods such as added sugars, refined carbohydrates, and trans fats. Additionally, the plan includes a balance of macronutrients, with an emphasis on healthy fats and proteins that help support a healthy immune system and promote overall well-being.

By following our diet plan, Hashimoto’s thyroiditis patients can improve their quality of life and better manage their symptoms.

Our diet is free from gluten, lactose, soy and sugar.

Our research

Pre-clinical study

Our current patient trials

Project Alfa: Our team is conducting research to understand the impact of a personalized nutrition plan on non-pharmacological treatment for Hashimoto’s Disease.

This gluten, lactose and sugar free diet specially designed with the Hashiona application eliminates most highly processed foods as well soy products from an individual’s daily intake. We are observing how it affects symptoms presentation, blood parameters (including antibodies levels) and overall quality of life in a sample group consisting 100 women between 25 – 45 years old who have been diagnosed with this condition.

To measure changes regarding quality of life we will use both ThyProPl questionnaire along WHOQOL-BREF questionnaires assessment tools. Each participant has an expanded blood test panel, including parameters such as TSH, fT3, fT4, a-TPO, a-TG, vit. D, ferritin, HbA1C, vit. B12, CBC, hs CRP, lipid profile, fasting insulin, ALT, Zn, and Se. Besides that, we also monitor the participants’ body mass, hips, and waist circumferences.

Initiated by esteemed medical professors, experts and renowned clinical dietitians, this patient trial is funded through an allotted grant. After successful pre-clinical studies (without the blood test), its completion date is projected for May 2023 with highly promising results – a protocol from it can be requested accordingly.

The grant from the British government: We are also integrating our platform with Medichecks – a UK home blood tests company with a 20 years of experience on the market. The aim of this collaboration is to integrate our platforms to offer patients customized recovery plans based on their blood test results.
